When Bad Is Good
Our nature is very adept at identifying what's good and what's bad for us. We know it's injurious to our health to eat our toilet waste, thanks to its bad look and smell. We know what makes us happy and sad to a certain extent. However, sometimes our natural instincts can mislead us. Some deal of hesitation and fear is good for us as these instincts are primarily there to defend us. But, when we keep feeling anxiety, something's wrong with our system. Likewise, our fear of criticism and rejection is counterproductive, as these are actually useful things that give us insight and wisdom into how the world works.
